My name is Magnus and I am the test and performance manager here at Kona Sports.  

For most of my life, I have worked as an analyst and consultant in the field of performance development. After working with almost thirty different sports, I found by pure chance, an activity that is one of the most functional that we humans can do, namely SUP. Since 2010, I have specifically focused on this sport, where I among other things have worked with the six-time world champion Casper Steinfath throughout his career.   

For us at Kona Sports, stand-up paddling is a passion. Our goal is to get more and more people to realize all the benefits of this amazing activity. Through our long and rigorous testing of both equipment and athletes, we are constantly gaining new evidence of how we can not only paddle faster and more economically, but also how beneficial Stand-up paddling is to our overall health and performance.   

For this reason, we now want to increasingly share and disseminate all the knowledge we have accumulated over the years. For us, your development is also our development. Therefore, I will be at your service to try to answer all the questions you may have about your SUP paddling, training and equipment.

From now on, I will also post many of my own training sessions in Strava, Club Kona Sports, where I in many cases test new training methods and concepts to develop SUP.
