Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow
Numinous Hollow is the SUP board for those who want the lightest, stiffest and therefore fastest paddle board you can handle. The Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow is simply designed to be the most responsive and fastest accelerating SUP board on the market. If you are looking for a SUP board that makes you internationally competitive, this is our obvious recommendation. We stand by our words and so that you are fully convinced, you are always welcome to visit us in Motala for a test!
Speed phenomenon
One of the most difficult things to achieve in SUP is speed increases. What we wanted to achieve with the Numinous M2 Hollow was the ability to always be able to accelerate, regardless of starting speed and water conditions. The Kona Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow is therefore an extremely easy-to-drive and fast-accelerating SUP board that, thanks to its design and hollow construction, lies just as well in the draft position as in the position it was primarily created for, i.e. to lie at the front.
Competitiveness through design
Thanks to its well-thought-out design and hollow construction, the Kona Numinous M2 Hollow has unmatched buoyancy and stability, as well as a glide that allows you, regardless of your level, to convert all your power and energy into speed. The SUP board's well-balanced and optimal volume distribution means you can easily handle both wind and waves from all directions, as well as the tightest pivot turns.
Function for future
The advantages of a hollow construction, in addition to reduced weight, increased buoyancy and rigidity, are that it provides a more durable SUP board over time. It also does not require as much material in the manufacturing process as for a paddle board with a foam core. Something that we, together with the production in our local area, see as a path towards increased sustainability.
Built for speed
The Kona Numinous 14.0 M2H is a SUP board designed for maximum speed in both flat and broken water, i.e. where wave formation occurs, such as during mass starts during a fitness race. It is also designed to be paddled in conditions where speed always costs power, i.e. to be able to paddle as fast as possible without the expected help of wind, waves or currents. Despite this, it easily handles all the conditions that can be expected during competition.
Stability - Stability for Performance™
For effective SUP paddling we need to be able to paddle ergonomically and relaxed, we therefore need a paddleboard that we experience as stable, i.e. does not make us lose our balance at the slightest impact. The stability we are talking about here is the so-called secondary stability, i.e. how stable the SUP board is experienced during speed. That the Kona Numinous M2 Hollow, just like our other models, is experienced as stable, is the basic prerequisite for us to be able to create the most optimal power transfer possible and where all the power actually goes in the direction we want.
Slide
You will soon understand that the Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow has an outstanding glide and acceleration ability. Some of the reasons for this are its low so-called bottom curvature, flat to round bottom design and its rounded edges in the front. The bow of the Kona Numinous M2 is also designed to easily cut the water surface regardless of the angle at which it is located.
Low standing
A standing surface that is as low as possible in relation to the waterline helps to lower the common center of gravity (GTP) of the paddler and the SUP board, which in turn means that the SUP board is not affected by the paddler's movements to the same extent. The Numinous 14.0 M2H has been carefully designed for the lowest possible GTP. This gives you the opportunity to put more of your energy into propelling the board forward instead of having to compensate for balance and lose speed.
Volume optimized
A hollow SUP board provides more volume, which contributes to increased buoyancy. The Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow is therefore designed with the smallest possible volume in relation to the paddler's weight, type of water conditions and the distance speed at which the board is intended to be paddled. Through its volume distribution, the Kona Numinous 14.0 M2H also has high stability when the board is controlled from the stern. The adapted volume in the stern also means that the board can be maneuvered quickly and easily when, for example, pivot turns and is easier to drive with the waves when, for example, paddling downwind.
Price stability
The Kona Numinous's sharp edges at the aft of the hull and its pronounced displacement fore contribute to direct foot control and increased course stability. Together with Kona's extra long and optimally positioned fin box, the Numinous 14.0 M2H makes for a paddleboard with superb maneuverability and customization options.
Kona Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow
Our development is your development. With a Kona Numinous 14.0 M2 Hollow and its superior responsiveness, you never have to wonder if you've chosen the right SUP board. Now you can focus on your own training and development and just enjoy the glide and the speed you achieve - the Kona feeling.
