Listen as Niklas, Joachim and Magnus discuss what a fantastic tool SUP is for our personal development. Here we also get a closer explanation of why we should constantly strive for and maintain a functional body. That our functionality is also the most important factor when it comes to performance.
What motivates and strengthens us humans the most? What makes us continue to do demanding things, such as exercising or following a certain diet? The answer to that is largely that we feel that it makes us develop as people, that we thereby learn something new.
Developing also includes learning to understand ourselves, for example learning to handle things that we initially find unpleasant. At first, it is often enough for us to simply understand how something should be done to feel motivated, but when we also learn to practically do it, that is when confidence in our own competence and capacity increases.
Two factors that are significant in this process are that we start from our own level and where we stand today. The second is that we receive continuous feedback that can show whether we are on the right path or not. SUP has proven to be one of the most effective ways to both learn to understand how we ourselves function and also develop ourselves. Happy listening!
