Develop your SUP paddling. The training combines theory and practice and provides the latest knowledge in everything related to SUP paddling and SUP training. As a leading knowledge carrier of SUP, we want to give you the best conditions to progress in your SUP paddling. We also provide adapted boards and paddles for SUP training so that you can easily get to and from Motala by public transport. The continuation course is three hours in total and includes the following: Theory part (1.5 h). SUP paddling as a form of exercise and training. Adapted SUP equipment for exercise, training and touring paddling. Balance and posture on the SUP board - Stability for performance™. Paddling SUP using body weight. The different parts of the paddle stroke in SUP. Training exercises for SUP. Practical part on the water (1.5 h). Effective and ergonomic paddling technique for SUP - Nordic stroke. Directional stability - paddling straight with your SUP board. The gears of SUP paddling - the importance of frequency/cadence in SUP. Trimming the SUP board - make your SUP board glide better. Pivot turn - the fastest way to turn 180° with the SUP board. The advanced course gives you the latest knowledge so that you are guaranteed to progress in your SUP paddling. Here you will get all the tools you need to continue training on your own. The practical part takes place in connection with Kona Sports' premises and on the type of water that you wish and want to learn to handle. However, there is always access to calm and still water so that you can focus completely on the details you want to practice. If you come with your own car, there is free parking, otherwise it is walking distance to the train and bus. Changing rooms and showers are available on site. Book your place here.
